Impromptu Wildflower Headband

Seems like the perfect day to share this gorgeous shot from last summer. We visited this client’s family property on a gorgeous July day. It had a winding walking path full of wildflowers, tall grasses, and even a few old cars that seemed perfectly nestled, just waiting for photos to be taken with them. As we were walking along I kept thinking of how perfect a flowered hair band would be with her outfit, and finally we picked a handful and started weaving this together. It could not have been more perfect for her. I just love this shot, and do have to admit that I hold back images for several months sometimes, since there is so much copying going on in the photography industry. For my clients, I want to create individuality and uniqueness, that their friends or classmates will not easily have duplicated. I also want to create memories for my seniors of the day that their photos were taken. A fun, once in a lifetime experience that will always be thought of with a smile. This shot says that to me. A peaceful but JOYFUL moment, captured forever. So, on a cold February night, I share with you the beautiful Cedar, with the beautiful name, and the beautiful wildflower headband.
